PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the stability of a stapling process while suppressing the sound of operation.SOLUTION: A stapler driving device has a power supply section which has a motor and supplies power to the motor of a stapler which implements a stapling operation to insert a staple needle into a needle made of a plurality of recording medium sheets and to bend the bundle by driving force generated by the rotation of the motor, and a power supply control section which makes the power supply section supply power corresponding to at least one of the kind and the number of the recording medium sheets forming the bundle toward the motor.
