PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change direction of exhaust air while suppressing decline in air quantity and equipment efficiency in an outdoor unit for an air conditioner.SOLUTION: In the outdoor unit 1 for the air conditioner, a wind direction guide unit 11 has an approximately rectangular frame, and a plurality of wind direction guide plates 12 guiding a turning flow of exhaust air to a predetermined direction and a partition plate 13 interconnecting intermediate portions in the longitudinal direction of the plurality of wind direction guide plates 12 are formed within the frame. The wind direction guide plate 12 includes a first wind direction guide plate 12A and a second wind direction guide plate 12B, which are defined using the center in the longitudinal direction as a boundary, and is constituted to guide a turning flow of exhaust air from a propeller fan 5 to approximately the same direction by the first wind direction guide plate 12A and the second wind direction guide plate 12B. The partition plate 13 comprises: a first fin 13A having a guide face guiding a turning flow of exhaust air from the propeller fan 5 to approximately the same direction; and a second fin 13B having a guide face symmetrical to the first fin 13A and guiding a turning flow of exhaust air from the propeller fan 5 to approximately the same direction. |
