PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin connector that is simple in structure and prevents solder wicking.SOLUTION: The thin connector includes a housing 2 having an insertion space, a first terminal member 4 having a first elastic portion 43 that is elastically deformed when a thin insertion object is inserted into the insertion space, and a second terminal member 5 having a to-be-supported portion 52 supported by the housing, a second elastic portion 54 that is elastically deformed by being pressed by the first elastic portion 43 in connection with the elastic deformation of the first elastic portion 43, and a terminal portion 51 that extends from the to-be-supported portion 52 in a direction different from an extending direction of the second elastic portion 54, wherein an inserting state of the thin insertion object is detected by a change in continuity between the first terminal member 4 and the second terminal member 5 and the second terminal member 5 has a cross-sectional area reducing portion 55 for reducing a cross-sectional area between the to-be-supported portion 52 and the terminal portion 51. Thermal conductivity during soldering is suppressed by the cross-sectional area reducing portion 55 to suppress an increase in temperature of the to-be-supported portion 52, preventing attachment of solder to the second elastic portion 54. |
