Provided is a hydroponic system which enables effective use to be made of space and is suitable for automation. The hydroponic system includes a seed planting apparatus for planting seeds in a pallet and placing the pallet in a first water tub; a lighting device; a sort & transfer apparatus for picking up a pallet from the first water tub to check the growth condition of the shoot and then transfer only the pallet of a successfully grown shoot to a second water tub; a harvesting apparatus for picking up the pallet from the second water tub; a nutrient solution adjuster; and a controller for providing monitoring control to each device in the hydroponic system and keeping track of the current position of each pallet to provide time period control thereto. The pallet is placed in the water tub to help growth while being gradually moved. Thus, provision of a pallet transfer mechanism at the ends of the water tub serves to achieve automation from seed planting to harvesting. Furthermore, the step of checking and transferring carried out at an intermediate stage allows for making effective use of space. |
