The device (10) has a holding member for enclosing a fuel pipe (12). The holding member is designed as a metal sheet mold part (14) and comprises receptacles (24) for holding a screw (16), where the mold part forms two U-shaped work areas (20, 22). The work areas and the receptacles are separated from each other by a recess, where the receptacles run vertically to a longitudinal extent direction of the fuel pipe. The screw comprises a screw thread (28), where diameter of the screw thread is larger than internal diameter of the receptacles. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a fuel distribution device for a motor car.
