PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of attaining beautiful dimming effect.SOLUTION: The lighting device includes a reflector 19 wherein light emitted from a light source 18 located on a focal point x of a reflecting surface 26 is condensed into an opening 41 of an iris shutter 38, and a light source moving mechanism 20 for moving the light source 18 to the focal point x of the reflector 19. The lighting device further includes a dimming shutter 39 for adjusting quantity of light passing through the opening 41 of the iris shutter 38, and an interlocking mechanism 47 for letting movement of the light source 18 with the light source moving mechanism 20 and adjustment of the quantity of light with the dimming shutter 39 operate together. The interlocking mechanism 47 makes the dimming shutter 39 stop down the quantity of light when the light source 18 is moved from the focal point x of the reflector 19 with the light source moving mechanism 20. |
