PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive controller for a hybrid vehicle, capable of more appropriately shifting speed during regulation of charging and discharging of a power storage device.SOLUTION: The drive controller for a vehicle includes an automatic transmission part 20, having a plurality of elements capable of mutually performing differential rotation; a deciding means for deciding a first transmission pattern which is a combination in shifting speed from one gear stage of a transmission mechanism to another gear stage different from the one gear stage, based on the traveling state of the vehicle; and a control means for controlling the transmission mechanism so as to change the decided first shift pattern to a second shift pattern, having a smaller number of shift stages compared to the first shift pattern, when the supply of electric power or the charging of the electric power is regulated. |
