PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive support device for a vehicle capable of determining the traveling direction changing state of an own vehicle, and performing traveling reduced in the degree of urgency relating to the travel of the own vehicle.SOLUTION: The drive support device for the vehicle is provided with a line of sight recognition means for recognizing a line of sight of a driver who drives the own vehicle (S2), and supports the drive of the own vehicle based on the information of the line of sight recognized by the line of sight recognition means. The drive support device is provided with drive assisting means (S3, S7 to S18) for determining the traveling direction changing state of the own vehicle based on the information of the line of sight (S7), and assisting drive based on a traveling environment ahead of the own vehicle accompanied by the change of the traveling direction of the own vehicle. |
