PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holographic recording media having improved low shrinkage properties when interference fringes are written, and also to provide a composition for holographic recording used in a recording layer of the holographic recording media.SOLUTION: A monomer for holographic recording is represented by a formula (I), wherein Ris a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; Ris a hydrogen atom, a 1-18C alkyl group, a 6-18C aryl group, or a 7-18C aralkyl group; Ris a hydrogen atom, a 1-30C alkyl group, a 6-25C aryl group, or a 7-25C aralkyl group; Rand Rare each a 2-4C alkylene group; and m and n are each an integer of 0-50, wherein the sum of m and n is 1 or more. The composition for holographic recording contains a monomer component including the monomer for holographic recording and a matrix. |
