PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly refrigerator that can maintain freshness of stored articles to be stored inside.SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes: a main box 101 which has a cold storage compartment 110 formed therein; a first storage container 140 which is disposed in the cold storage compartment 110 so that the first storage container 140 can be pulled out and which has a container sidewall 143 having light transmission properties; and a light emitting unit 200 which is provided to an inner side surface 116 of the cold storage compartment 110 and which emits light by means of a semiconductor light emitting element, the light emitting unit 200 applying the light to the inside of the first storage container 140 through the container sidewall 143. |
