PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner including an air filter cleaning unit and enabling work of removing and cleaning oil fixed on an air filter that cannot be removed by the air filter cleaning unit by allowing only the air filter to be easily detached.SOLUTION: The indoor unit of the air conditioner includes: the air filter 23 disposed between a suction port 5 and an indoor heat exchanger 8; the air filter cleaning unit 25 including an air filter moving mechanism 27 and a rotating brush 28 for removing dust adhered on the air filter; and a dust box 30 for storing the removed dust. The air filter cleaning unit is in sliding contact with the air filter and is rotatably supported from a dust removing position to the front surface side of an indoor unit body. The air filter can be attached/detached to/from the indoor unit body with the air filter cleaning unit rotated from the dust removing and cleaning position to the front surface side. |
