PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose connection auxiliary tool which can be easily temporarily fixed to a hose, and can be treated integrally with a hose having an outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the auxiliary tool.SOLUTION: The hose connection auxiliary tool includes: a cylindrical body 1 which is fitted onto the end of a hose H and pressed onto the hose H with a hose band B; a hose end surface contact portion 2 provided on one end surface of the cylindrical body; and a joint fitting insert hole 3 provided at the center of the end surface contact portion, and the tool is formed of a flexible material. The cylindrical body 1 has an elliptic sectional shape having an inside short axis diameter smaller than the outside diameter of the hose and an inner peripheral length larger than the outer peripheral length of the hose. The hose end surface contact portion is formed into a size sufficient to cover the overall end surface of the hose. The cylindrical body 1 has a length such that it can be located outside at least one of the annular projections 5 provided on the outer periphery of a joint fitting G in a state where the joint fitting G is fitted to the hose H. |
