PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light extinction type smoke sensor capable of determining a fine with high precision by excluding the effect of a noise source.SOLUTION: The light extinction type smoke sensor is equipped with a smoke inspection space 5, a smoke inspection light path 7 formed so as to traverse the smoke inspection space 5, a compensation light path 9 provided separate from the smoke inspection space 5, an emission element 11 for emitting light toward the smoke inspection light path 7 and the compensation light path 9, a first light detection element 13a arranged so as to detect the light passed through the compensation light path 9, a second light detection element 13b arranged so as to detect the light passed through the smoke inspection light path 7, and a fine determining means 17a for determining a fire by using the rate of change of the light detection quantity of the first light detection element 13a and the light detection quantity of the second light detection element 13b, and constituted of a multielement-containing photodiode wherein the first and second light detection element 13a and 13b are housed in one package. |
