摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a palladium catalyst for addition polymerizing a norbornene system which has a sufficient catalytic activity for the addition polymerization of not only a non-substituted norbornene but also a norbornene derivative, is inexpensive and high in chemical stability, and is excellent in dissolution in a solvent, and to provide a norbornene-based addition-polymerized body and a method for production thereof.SOLUTION: The palladium catalyst for a norbornene-based addition-polymerized body is bis(di-benzylidene acetone)palladium which is a complex with two of di-benzylidene acetone coordinated to one of zero-valent palladium, or tris(di-benzylidene acetone)di-palladium which is a complex with three of di-benzylidene acetone coordinated to two of zero-valent palladiums, and is suitable as a catalyst for the addition polymerization of a norbornene derivative with a substituent group such as an ester group.
