A system, for controlling vertical movement of a power acquisition device mounted on an electric vehicle, comprising a power acquisition coil for generating induced power by using a magnetic field generated by a power line embedded in a road, an actuator for moving the power acquisition coil in directions vertical to a surface of the road, a speed measurement unit, a charging sensing unit for detecting whether the vehicle is being charged and generating charging information which indicates a result of said detecting, a distance measurement unit for measuring a distance between the power acquisition coil and the surface of the road, and a control unit for determining whether to operate the actuator based on the measured speed of the vehicle and the generated charging information, and operating the actuator according to the measured distance. |
