The drive circuit electrically disconnects the drive transistor (173) by applying a predetermined bias voltage to the back gate electrode and making the absolute value of the threshold voltage of the drive transistor (173) larger than the potential difference between the gate electrode and the source electrode, and has the capacitor (174) hold a voltage that corresponds to a signal voltage, while maintaining the drive transistor (173) in the electrically disconnected state.
