A pet barrier and privacy screen for computer work stations comprising a pair of side panels comprising a frame with a window pane aperture and a slot for inserting a polymeric pane selected from the group of transparent, translucent and opaque to adjust the degree of privacy of the work area. An electronic LCD display can also be inserted therein which can be electronically connected to the workstation via either electrical wire or electronic wireless means in order to augment the primary computer monitor. Each side panel also comprises a transversal stand at the rear bottom edge of said panel that may be attachable and removable. The top edge of the frame may have a curvilinear shape to avoid providing a foothold for a pet trying to compromise the side panel and may also include a speaker therein. A length-adjustable support bar may be employed at the rear of the panels and connecting the panels for additional stability.
