PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable prevention of an amount of ink from being erroneously detected by moving regularly every time, and to make mounting work easy by much mounting accuracy play. SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 2 includes: a flexible ink bag 10 varying in thickness according to an ink amount; a chassis 11 housing the ink back; a plate 12 fixed on the surface of the ink bag, movable together with the ink bag, and having a pin 12a protruding toward the side face of the chassis; a reflector plate 13 reflecting a detecting light L entering from the outside of the chassis; a lever part 14 the base end side of which is rotatably attached on a side face of the chassis so as to slide on the side face; and a long hole shaped leading groove 14a leading the pin accompanying transfer of the plate and formed from the front end side to the base end side of the lever in a dimension as large as the tip of the pin is inserted, wherein the lever part is rotated by inserting the pin into the leading groove accompanying transfer of the plate so that a non-reflecting plate 14e prevents a detected light from reflecting when remaining ink goes out.
