The tool comprises a scraping blade 3, preferably having a T shape and at least one stop tab 2, which is arranged to position the tool, when pressed against a door or window lining 9, such that a longitudinal part 6 of the blade 3 scrapes the surface of door or window lining 9 and a transversal part 5 of the blade 3 removes excess plaster from the surrounding of the lining 9. The longitudinal part 6 of the blade 3 may have a length corresponding to a standard dimension of the door or window lining 9. The transversal part 5 may protrude on both sides from the longitudinal part 6 of the blade 3 in a distance equal or greater than the standard dimensions of the door or window lining 9. A method of finishing the plastering work around a door or window lining is also claimed. |
