PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which increases the printing speed by performing a head cleaning motion and a recording liquid feeding motion as collectively as possible. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, when the time for performing the cleaning motion or an ink filling motion has come regarding one recording head 34, the cleaning motion or the ink filling motion is performed for the recording head 34. At the same time, the cleaning motion or the ink filling motion is performed as well regarding a recording head of which the time for the cleaning motion or the ink filling motion has not yet come, but the recording head has reached a near time by which the reaching of the time is expected.
