A method for performing a dynamic change from a first interface type to a second interface type, the method comprising the steps of sending a perform type handoff packet to a client instructing the client to handoff from using the first interface type to using the second interface type; and receiving the interface type by the client while receiving a packet that follows the sent perform type handoff packet as well as a corresponding system.
