<p>The machine i.e. two-shaft screw machine (1), has treatment elements e.g. screw elements (33, 35, 37) and dispersing elements (34, 36), for treating polymer melts arranged in a direction of rotation axes (19, 20) on shafts (16, 17). Degassing devices (38, 39) are provided for degassing volatile components in the melts and comprise degassing units (40, 41), which are extended from a housing (2) up to the shafts in housing holes (12, 13). The degassing units are formed in such a manner that a surface of the melts is enlarged, and are firmly connected with adjacent housing sections (5-8).</p> |
