PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To match a sampling clock frequency at a repeater side to a sampling clock frequency at a transmission apparatus side even when an interference wave component (sneaked path wave component, multi-path component) is superposed on a reception signal at the repeater of an SFN system. SOLUTION: At the repeater of the SFN system, the interference wave component (sneaked path wave component, multi-path component) is removed from the reception signal and sampling processing is performed by a sampling clock generated on the basis of the correlation output between the reception signal from which the interference wave component is removed and a signal obtained by delaying the reception signal for one valid symbol term, thereby matching the sampling clock frequency to the transmission side sampling clock frequency.
