FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary sprayer applicator and may be used for varnishing cars. Proposed applicator represents bell-like plate or rotary disk and comprises bypass surface revolving together with applicator in applying coat. Said bypass surface has surface layer whereon thin film of varnish to be applied is located. Boundary surface friction acts between coat film and surface layer. Varnish film on surface layer features thickness smaller than varnish particle length. Besides, invention covers also method of operation.
