FIELD: information technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for personal identification through a digital facial image comprises steps for searching the face of a person in a frame, scaling the selected image to a given size, levelling brightness and colour of the image, generating an input image vector (P1), loading a comparison image (P2) from a data base, breaking the image into blocks and performing primary search when said blocks coincide, performing secondary search, based on which a decision on coincidence is made, wherein after loading the image, brightness and colour are levelled, and the input image vector is generated, after which the image is scaled to a given size, after which the image is broken based on connectivity of elements, an integral index is formed, primary and secondary search is performed, after which a decision on coincidence is made. ^ EFFECT: high accuracy and high speed of recognition of the facial image of a person. ^ 4 dwg |
