FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics. ^ SUBSTANCE: there is presented a group of inventions including application of a combination of 4-methyl-3-[[4-(3-pyridinyl)-2-pyrimidinyl]amino]-N-[5-(4-methyl-1H-imidazole-1-yl)-3 (trifluoromethyl)phenyl]benzamide or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, and imanitib or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt for preparing a drug intended for a method of treating gastrointestinal (G-I) stromal tumours. ^ EFFECT: use of the given combination for treating GI stromal tumours is clinically significant as opposed to single agent therapy due to a synergic effect of the preparations to ensure thereby a stable disease. ^ 2 cl, 1 ex, 1 tbl |
