SEALING OF MOVEMENT JOINT OF STEEL-REINFORCED-CONCRETE (REINFORCED-CONCRETE) PIPELINE SECTIONS

Sealing of movement joints of steel-reinforced-concrete (reinforced-concrete) pipelines sections that can be used in hydraulic engineering, in particular for sealing movement joints of steel-reinforced-concrete (reinforced-concrete) large-diameter power conduits of HPP, HPSPP and pump stations. Sealing of joints between the sections of steel-reinforced-concrete (reinforced-concrete) pipelines placed in expanded cavity of joint at the inner side of the pipeline includes a metal bearing element arranged as rods with trapezoidal cross section with smaller base at the inner side of the pipeline with formation of cavities with trapezoidal cross section between the rods, with large base at the inner side of the pipeline. The ends of the rods are connected with circular metal elements fixed to lining. Cavities that are formed between the rods are filled with flexible sealing element that is arranged as separate strips with trapezoidal cross section, as result of that continuous airtight loop is formed.
