The device has a resolution resistor (R1) mounted between a ground and an output (S1) of a load block. Another resolution resistor (R2) is mounted between the output of the load block and an output (S2) of another load block. Value of the latter resistor is determined from maximal values of range of reference voltages and maximal output intensity of the latter block such that sum of the value of the latter resistor and a value of the former resistor optimizes resolution of measurement carried out by the latter block. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring load current intensity of electrical equipments.
