PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse washing water used in a washing or rinsing operation for rinsing for balance correction when the imbalance of a rotating drum is detected in a spin-drying operation.SOLUTION: A drum type washing machine includes: a rotating drum 4 rotatably attached inside an outer tab 3; a discharge valve 108 for discharging washing water (washing water or rinse water); a space 109 expanding a part of a discharge channel which connects a lint filter 109a for capturing lint floating in water in the outer tab 3 and the discharge valve 108; a vibration sensor 118 for detecting imbalance of the rotatinig drum 4 during the spin-drying operation; and a water level sensor 112 for detecting the water level in the outer tab 3. The discharge valve 108 discharges to a predetermined water level where the wash water is eliminated from the rotating drum 4 by the spin-drying operation, and the remaining water in the discharge channel including the space 109 is used for balance correction performed when the rotating drum 4 is unbalanced. |
