PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device, display image data creating method and program for efficiently creating display image data.SOLUTION: In the image display device 1, when creating display image data by synthesizing a plurality of component image data items 161 sequentially from component image data 161 of a component picture P in the lowest layer, component image data 161 of a component picture P in an upper layer are acquired from a nonvolatile memory 153, and based on pixel data included in the component image data 161, it is determined whether an upper-layer pixel constituting the component picture P in the upper layer is a pixel of a specific color. If it is determined that the upper-layer pixel is not a pixel of the specific color, a lower-layer pixel at the same display position as the upper-layer pixel is designated from among lower-layer pixels constituting an image of a lower layer. The pixel data of the designated lower-layer pixel are replaced with the pixel data of the upper-layer pixel, for synthesis processing. |
