PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of displaying graphic data capable of displaying the layout of graphics in a shorter time than before.SOLUTION: Pixel map data PM are acquired from a nonvolatile storage means. On the basis of the pixel map data PM, the layout of the graphics is displayed corresponding to a magnification rate on the screen of a display. The pixel map data PM are prepared on the basis of the graphic data. The graphic data has the hierarchical structure of n-hierarchies (n is a natural number not smaller than 2) for specifying the layout of the graphics in the (m+1)th hierarchy for each specified area of the m-th hierarchy (m is a natural number smaller than n). |
