PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage system and a control method that enable individual users to use their own data securely and easily.SOLUTION: In the information storage system including one or more information storage devices, and a holding device having a mechanism for holding the one or more information storage devices removably and a control part, data written to the information storage devices has identification information added to identify the user who uses the data, and when new data are written to any information storage device held on the holding device, the control part determines whether there is an information storage device that stores data with the same identification information added as identification information added to the new data and, if there is an information storage device that stores data with the same identification information added, adds the new data to the information storage device. |
