PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting layer forming solid material capable of adjusting the composition of an evaporated film, by changing the heating temperature of an evaporation source using one kind of solid material, obviating co-deposition that is difficult to control, reducing the variations in element performance, and improving repeating reproducibility, and to provide an organic electroluminescent element and a method for producing the layer.SOLUTION: There is provided the light-emitting layer forming solid material to form a single layer light-emitting layer that emits white light by evaporation method. The light-emitting layer forming solid material includes at least one of host material and at least one of light-emitting material. It is desirable that the light-emitting layer forming solid material have an aspect that includes at least two kinds of light-emitting materials; an aspect for at least two kinds of light-emitting materials that emit light of different colors; and an aspect that at least one of light-emitting material is a phosphorescent light-emitting material. |
