PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent concentration of load on a distribution server by holding the equal number of data blocks in peers distributed on a network, in a peer-to-peer streaming delivery method, a distribution server apparatus, and a client apparatus.SOLUTION: Actual content data is divided into plural data blocks. The data blocks are held by the distribution server 10 and the peers 21 to 25. The data block of the content is distributed to a client 11 from each of the peers 21 to 25 or the distribution server 10. The client 11 requests each of the peers 21 to 25 to distributed the data blocks. When the peers receives a reply indicating that the data blocks are undeliverable, the client 11 transmits a request to distribute the undeliverable data blocks to the distribution server 10. Upon receipt of the request to distribute the data blocks, the distribution server 10 distributes the data blocks to the client 11, and at the same time, instructs the client 11 to hold the data blocks. |
