PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of preventing accumulation of toner in a casing effectively and an image forming apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: In a developer container 20 of the developing devices 3a to 3d, a recess 20cb is formed in a wall 20c provided between a facing region where a developing roller 31 faces photoconductor drums 1a to 1d and an ear-breaking blade 35 and an ellipsoid roller 41 is placed in the recess 20cb. A film member 40 having a free end is supported so as to cover the recess 20cb at the top end of an inner wall face 20ca of the wall 20c. The film member 40 is pushed up and moved in the vertical direction with respect to the inner wall face 20ca every time when the ellipsoid roller 41 rotates and a projected portion 41b of the ellipsoid roller 41 comes in contact with the film member 40. |
