PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater achieving a water-saving operation while maintaining the usability by varying a flow amount to be a predetermined water-saving rate with respect to a used flow amount set by a user.SOLUTION: The water heater includes a hot-water pipe line 40 that supplies hot water to a hot-water supply terminal 42, a flow amount-detecting means 43 that detects the flow amount of hot water flowing in the hot-water pipe line 40, a flow amount-regulating means 44 that regulates the flow amount of hot water flowing in the hot-water pipe line 40, and a control means 94. The water heater is configured to vary the flow amount of hot water flowing in the hot-water pipe line 40 with the flow amount-regulating means 44 so that the flow amount of hot water flowing in the hot-water pipe line becomes the water-saving flow amount calculated from the predetermined water-saving rate with respect to the initial flow amount detected by the flow amount-detecting means 43, and to change the water-saving rate, the flow amount variation range, and the variable period. |
