PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer mast structure for a cargo handling vehicle capable of reducing the number of work manhours to outer mast rails.SOLUTION: An outer mast unit 1 includes the pair of outer mast rails 2 extended vertically and a pair of upper plates 3 each coupled to a lateral wall 2a of the outer mast rail 2. A strip plate 4 is welded and jointed to the inner face of the upper plate 3, and a mast roller 6 is mounted to a front portion of the strip plate 4 on the inner face of the upper plate 3. With the strip plate 4 abutting on an upper end face of a rear wall 2c of the outer mast rail 2, the upper plate 3 is welded and jointed to the upper part on the outer face of the lateral wall 2a. The upper plates 3 are interconnected by an upper beam 8, and chain anchor brackets 9 are mounted on both the right and left sides of the upper beam 8. |
