PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire improving quietness, while achieving considerable improvement of on-ice performance as compared with a conventional pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire, polygonal blocks 10 having polygonal tread surface shapes of pentagons or more by longitudinal grooves 9a extending in a tire circumferential direction and lateral grooves 9b crossing the longitudinal grooves 9a are divided in a tread part 1. The polygonal blocks 10 are densely disposed in the tire circumferential direction to form polygonal block rows 11. Pitch lengths P1, P2 and P3 of the polygonal blocks 10 constituting the polygonal block rows 11 are made to have at least two kinds in variation. A ratio of the maximum pitch length P3 to the minimum pitch length P1 is made in the range of 1:0.8-0.9. |
