PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric solar shading system capable of reducing electric power consumption given by a detection means for detecting a position of a shading material.SOLUTION: This electric solar shading system includes a drive shaft for driving the shading material, a motor 9 for rotatively driving the drive shaft, the detection means 13 for detecting the amount of the rotation of the drive shaft, and a control device 15 for controlling an operation of a motor 9 on the basis of a command signal, while recognizing a position of the shading material on the basis of a detection signal output from the detection means 13. The electric solar shading system is also equipped with a power-off device 20 which shuts off power supply to the detection means 13 when the motor 9 is stopped. |
