PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of detecting the inclination of a recording head which is not affected by yawing.SOLUTION: The recording apparatus is configured to discharge ink from a plurality of nozzles onto a recording medium 16 in the state where a carriage 5 is stopped, and form a detection pattern 100 composed of at least two or more independent dots. Next, the detection pattern 100 formed on the recording medium 16 is detected by a line sensor 30, and the detection signal of the detection pattern 30 is acquired. And then, the inclination of the recording head 6 is detected based on the detection signal of the detection pattern 100. |
