A control unit 1a detects from an open terminal of the connection unit 1b1 a voltage value indicating that the open terminal is in a grounded state; when detecting the voltage value indicating that the open terminal is grounded, the control unit 1a effects control such that signals are transmitted to and received from the device 2b, using the connection unit 1b1. A function unit 1c realizes functions that are the main purpose of an electronic device 1. The devices 2a, 2b send and receive signals to and from the electronic device 1. |
