PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction in a portable terminal device in thickness and improvement in durability of a connection means.SOLUTION: A portable terminal device includes: a first housing 2 in which a display unit is disposed; a second housing 3 which supports the first housing freely slidably in a prescribed direction and in which an operating unit 24 is disposed; a first circuit board which is disposed inside the first housing and on which a first connector is mounted; a second circuit board which is disposed inside the second casing and on which a second connector is disposed; and a connecting cable 32 having both end portions connected to the first connector and the second connector. First holding parts 7a, 7a and a second holding part to hold two portions in an intermediate part of the connecting cable respectively, are provided, so that, when the first housing is slid with respect to the second housing, a portion between the first holding parts and the second holding part of the connecting cable is bent and extended orthogonally to a sliding direction and a thickness direction. |
