PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system capable of obtaining a diversity effect even while being in a structure advantageous for cost reduction.SOLUTION: In the radio communication system, when performing radio communication between a receiver 14 provided in a vehicle body 1 and a sensor unit 20 provided in a wheel 2, first and second reception antennas 13a, 13b are selectively switched by a switch 15, and radio signals transmitted from the sensor unit 20 are received by the selected reception antenna. In this case, after the radio signals are constituted of a plurality of frames, when a reception error occurs while receiving the first frame of the radio signals by the first reception antenna 13a, the rotation speed of the wheel 2 is estimated on the basis of reception signal strength detected through an RSSI circuit 14a. Then, the switch 15 is switched on the basis of the estimated rotation speed of the wheel 2. |
