PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress unevenness in a radiation image by securing a first time (increasing time Tr) and a second time (decreasing time Tf) during the whole irradiation-possible period.SOLUTION: The apparatus determines whether a target radiation exposure in the irradiation possible period is smaller than a first sum of the radiation exposure previously found when the radiation exposure per unit time in the first time is increased to a target value and the radiation exposure previously found when the radiation exposure per unit time in the second time is reduced from the target value (S112). If it is determined that the target radiation exposure is smaller, the radiation exposure per unit time of radiation emitted when the irradiation is started in the irradiation possible period is increased in the first time Tr by reducing the target value K in performing the radiography, and the radiation exposure per unit time of radiation emitted when the irradiation is terminated is decreased in the second time Tf. At the same time, a radiation source 14 is controlled so that the radiation exposure of radiation emitted in the irradiation possible period is the target radiation exposure. |
