A location method for a Secure User Plane Location (SUPL) Enabled Terminal (SET) is provided by the present invention. Said method includes that: the SET acquires the location service information of the local access network when it is accessing the local access network, wherein said location service information includes at least one of the address and/or identification of the location server in the local access network; said SET transmits the location service information of the local access network to the Home SUPL Location Platform (H-SLP) of said SET; and said SET receives the location service information transmitted by said H-SLP, wherein said location service information includes the address and/or identification of the location server providing location service for said SET in said local access network. An SET and an H-SLP are also provided by the present invention. The present invention solves the problem that the location service of the local access network can not be used so that it affects the user experience, and realizes the location service for the SET accessing a visited local access network.
