The shirt has a collar stiffener (2) with color, which represents a contrast for color of a shirt collar (1). A textile material at collar corners of the shirt collar is partially removed by the collar stiffener, so that parts of the collar stiffener are viewed. The collar stiffener comprises a surface of the removed textile substance, and consists of a material such as plastic or metal. Patterns at the shirt collar are viewed based on the removal of the textile material at the collar corners of the shirt collar and a surface of the collar stiffener. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a shirt.
