A problem is to provide an image processing device that corrects aberrant asymmetry and obtains high-definition images. Disclosed is an image-processing device comprising image-acquisition means for getting an input image; and image-restoring means for restoring the input image to generate a restored image by using an image-restoring filter generated or selected based on a transfer function of a capturing system that is used to form a subject image as the input image, characterized in that the image-restoring filter reduces a difference in an absolute value of the transfer function between two azimuth directions when obtaining a restored image from the subject image, to be smaller than a difference of the absolute value of the transfer function between the two azimuth directions of the image capturing system.
