PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing apparatus at low cost wherein its tightened band does not loosen even if a special tightening mechanism or a braking mechanism for a motor is not incorporated therein.SOLUTION: After the band is tightened by the band conveying motor M1 with a band conveying motor M1 and a cam shaft motor M2 for rotating a cam shaft 26 each connected to a controller C, and the front end side of the band wound on a package pressed by a first pressing mechanism 11, a second pressing mechanism 12 for pressing its pullback side, a welding mechanism 13 for welding the band, and a cutting mechanism 15 for cutting the band delivering side relative to its welded part are sequentially operated by the rotation of the cam shaft 26. The controller C detects a current value of the band conveying motor M1 in a band tightening step. When the detected value Iequals the predetermined set value, the cam shaft motor M2 is activated, and the second pressing mechanism 12 is operated before the band conveying motor M1 stops. |
