PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently increase regular reflectance without polishing in a reflection type liquid crystal display device that uses regular reflected light.SOLUTION: The reflection type liquid crystal display device 100 is provided. The reflection type liquid crystal display device 100 includes a substrate 22, a plurality of lines 35s and 35d formed on it, a dummy line 35m formed between the lines, a flattened layer 24 formed on the lines, a reflection electrode 21 formed on it to reflect light, and a liquid crystal layer 25 formed on it. The surface S on the side of the liquid crystal layer 25 of the reflection electrode 21 comprises a plurality of slopes S1 inclined to the substrate 22, and a plurality of non-slopes S2 not inclined to the substrate 22. When a length determined by the depth d and inclination angle θ of the slope S1, which is the length in the extending direction of the substrate 22, is defined as an inclination width L, all the inclination widths L of the slopes are ≤5 μm. |
