PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin-made container in which the rigidity against a load in the lateral direction is increased.SOLUTION: The synthetic resin-made container has a mouth portion 2, a shoulder portion 3, a barrel portion 4 and a bottom portion 5. The barrel portion 4 is divided into the upper barrel portion 4a and a lower barrel portion 4b by a waist portion 40. The upper edge of the upper barrel portion side slope 40a of the waist portion 40 to be connected to the lower edge of the upper barrel portion 4a is bent outward of the container, and the lower edge of the upper barrel portion 4a with the bent slope 40a being connected thereto is downwardly projected toward the waist portion 4 side in the height direction. Thus, a stepped portion 45 is formed between the upper barrel portion 4a and the waist portion 40. |
